Prospects of Energy Efficiency Improvement with the MonitorEE Stakholders
Local Stakeholders Meeting 1 of the MonitorEE project (Interreg Europe) was held in the Office of the Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship on 18th August, 2023. The event was attended by project stakeholders, i.e. representatives of the Academy of Entrepreneurship sp. z o.o., Świętokrzyskie Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer, EkoEnergia sp. z o.o., Konstalsko, EcoVoltaika and Anna Kucharczyk, deputy director of the Department of Investments and Development of the Office of the Marshal and employees of the Department.
The MonitorEE project rules and the upcoming tasks scheduled in the project were discussed. In addition, Interregional Event 1 (IE1) was summarised. The Event was for project partners and their stakeholders and was hosted by the Extremadura Energy Agency in Badajoz, Spain, between 24th and 25th May this year. Two good practices were also presented in the field of energy efficiency of buildings in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, i.e. thermal modernisation of public buildings in Starachowice and thermal modernisation of public buildings in the Fałków Commune along with RES installation.
The meeting was an opportunity not only to summarise the activities undertaken in the project so far, but also to discuss the possibilities of supporting projects related to RES and energy efficiency in the new EU financial period 2021-2027.
The MonitorEE project is implemented under the Interreg Europe programme and co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund (Specific objective: 2.1. Promoting solutions in the field of energy efficiency).
